Modern building, the museum has three basement levels are most attractive, where the fish ponds.

On entering the museum, which is downstairs, you can watch documentaries about the Delta and Dobrogea, the genesis of the delta and presentations so far (with information panels, photographs, maps, dioramas that recreate specific flora and fauna of North Dobrogea).

Upstairs you can see minigradina botany, flora and fauna dioramas, traditional presentation of objects used by the inhabitants of the Delta, children's play room, conference room. Also, you can relax a few minutes in the cafeteria where you can have different products.

The basement aquarium is perhaps the most compelling section of the museum. The first tank is cylindrical and presents a tube through which you can sneak to watch the fish from the inside out. A fascinating idea, to stay "near" a shark. Following are some color and a huge aquarium size glass tunnel under the museum's largest pool (at the sturgeons), which give you the impression that fish swim over your head. There is an aisle where you enter the tiny door in a half-cylinder and you feel like you be yourself in the aquarium with sturgeon at his arm. In the spirit of Delta, the museum's ceiling is decorated with fishing nets.

The museum can be visited from May to September between the hours of 10-20, last entry 19 in the period from October to April and from 10-18, last entry 17.30. Monday is closed.
