Talalla Retreat is a boutique hotel and resort set in a tropical palm tree garden near the sandy Talalla Beach at the southern tip of Sri Lanka, beside the village of Matara.
Resort facilities include a 20 m freshwater lap pool, a custom built yoga pavilion, spa facilities, a gourmet open-air restaurant and wireless broadband.
The resort offers Yoga classes throughout the year and surf classes at specific times of the year.
The accommodation consists of 32 spacious rooms with distinct tropical character, the rooms are basic but bright and airy and open to the sides. All rooms feature a large mosquito net, shutters/blinds for privacy, open-sky marble bathrooms and private balconies or patios with lush oasis views. The rooms on the first floor have the option to accommodate children, while the rooms on the second floor are for adults only.
