Bethlen Castle - Haller, Cetatea de Balta - Alba - details and images
Castle's quadrangle plan was provided with circular corner towers without defensive role. It was built on four levels in French Gothic style.
Castle came into possession of Eugene Haller, it was restored in Baroque style between 1770-1773, when it was arranged the park surrounding the castle, and the compound was surrounded by a wall equipped with an impressive gateway.
The castle has had several destinations over time: kindergarten, prison cafeteria, meat processing and cutting champagnization. In the second half of last century was nationalized, and now there is an intention to make luxury castle hotel.
