Koh Samui or Samui, with an area of 247 square kilometers is the largest island in Thailand and the third largest island in an archipelago of over 80 (mostly uninhabited) islands which form the Ang Thong National Marine Park, a paradise kayaking and snorkeling. The 25 km long and 21 km wide, Samui is big enough for a serious exploration and adventure, but can be crossed in just a few hours by motorbike or car.
