These Mediterranean waters are ideal for water sports such as sailing, fishing and scuba diving, amongst others. Alcossebre is also a good base from which to explore the Columbretes Islands Nature Reserve.
Costa del Azahar (Orange Blossom Coast) stretches between Castellon and Valencia, in part, in Alicante, from the Cabo Alcanar to Nao. The plot shows interesting contrasts this coast relief - vis-a-vis the rib strip that has a mantle of green and orange groves, is a mountainous and wild. The northern provinces of the Autonomous Community of Valencia, Castellon, owns the portion of the coast called Costa del Azahar
Contrasts were formed as a result of the geographical layout. Although the capital is called Castelló de la Plana, in fact the province has more mountainous than the plain regions.
