Olang is situated at 1,048 m in the heart of Val Pusteria and is composed of the Oberolang, Mitterolang, Niederolang and Geiselsberg districts. The picturesque village at the foot of Plan de Corones is nestled between Alps and Dolomites: surrounded by the impressive Prags Dolomites to the south and the Riesenferner Massif in the north, a fascinating panorama awaits. From Geiselsberg you have direct access to the ski area. A free ski bus runs every 20 minutes from all districts to the valley station Gassl at Geiselsberg in winter. Modern lift systems, short waiting times, very well prepared pistes and gorgeous views make this ski area one of the loveliest in the Dolomites. Tobogganing fans will also know the name, as the tobogganing world championships were held here for the second time in 2000! Moreover, numerous leisure activities are available, the different restaurants and lodges invite you in for refreshment and you will certainly find just the right souvenir in the shops.

If you prefer it a little more comfy, you should try out a horse-drawn sleigh ride through the snowy larch meadows. You can go play curling in the Sports Centre Dolomitiarena Sexten, or test your own strength in a climbing lesson in Nordic Arena. The futuristic building made from wood and glass is 23 m high, which makes it the largest indoor climbing hall in Italy. Fans of hiking can look forward to the densest network of hiking trails in all of South Tyrol.

Aprica is located at 1,181 m altitude in the lovely Veltlin valley, in the north of Lombardy. The winter sports resort has approx. 1,600 inhabitants and is situated just eastern of the Passo dell'Aprica, which is the cross-over point from Veltlin to Valcamonica. A modern infrastructure awaits you here, bedded into a wonderful landscape. Many accommodations lay directly on the piste and offer an easy access onto the diverse ski area. There are some wonderful panorama descents available which lead down directly into the valley. Especially families and beginners will feel well at home here.
