The small Central Dalmatian town of Omis area has its own seaport and is located between town Split and Makarska, about 26 km. south-east of Split. The city lies at the mouth of river Cetina into the sea, being guarded by the keys of the river Cetina. City of great beauty is situated on the river Cetina and has 15,800 inhabitants. Here, crystal clear water of the river flows into the sea formed river sand brought from the resort beach near Omis. From the north, the resort is protected by mountains and lies in the south sea. Omis city's economy relies on agriculture, fishing, textile industry and the food processing, tourism.

Sibenik (Sibenico in Italian) is a city in the eastern part of Croatia, at the mouth of the river Krka in the Adriatic Sea. Canton is the capital of Sibenik-Knin. It has a majority ethnic-Croat, making up 94.02% of the population. The main church in town, St. James, is the 2000 UNESCO World Heritage list. Unlike other cities along the Adriatic coast, which were founded by the Greeks, Illyrians and Romans, Sibenik was founded by Slavs. Excavations at castelulu Saint Michael, showed that the site was inhabited long before the actual arrival of the Croats.

Split (Spalato called in Italian) is the largest and most important city in Dalmatia, and the second city in Croatia. Vodice is a town in the region of Sibenik-Knin, Croatia and the Adriatic Sea borders. At only 12 km northwest of Sibenik, Vodice is a former fishing village turned into a marina and tourist center.
