Kathmandu actually consists of two cities: a capital of pilgrims and temples carved pink and frenzied outburst of modern towers that crowd beggars and monkeys, enveloped in exhaust fumes. History and modernity erupts foreign odors at the same time. Kathmandu, the holy grail at the end of a hippie trail from Europe, has long attracted travelers who seek knowledge in this city. Hippies do not dominate the landscape, but many travelers are near them and adventurers. The contrast between modern and traditional in Kathmandu is taken to the limit, with medieval atmosphere so different from Old Kathmandu Durbar Marg area.
