The town of Bankya is situated at a distance of 17 km west of Sofia, at the foot of the Lyulin Mountain, at an altitude of about 700 meters. The tranquility of the mountain, the fresh air and the healing water are the reason for Bankya to acquire the statute of a resort, preferred for relaxation and balneological treatment.

The town of Pravets is located at the foot of the Balkan Mountains (800m above the sea level) at a distance of 60 km from the capital of Bulgaria - Sofia. It is birthplace of ex Bulgarian comunistic leader Todor Zhivkov. Pravets is famous for the excellent sport facilities, the beautiful nature and convenient climate during the summer months. The first microprocessor factory in Bulgaria was situated in Pravets.

Pirdop is a town located in South-West Bulgaria in Pirdop Municipality of Sofia Province in the southeastern part of the Zlatitsa - Pirdop Valley at 670 m above sea level. It is surrounded by the Balkan Range (also known as the Stara Planina) to the north, Sredna Gora Mountain to the south, and Koznitsa and Galabets saddles to the east and west, respectively.

Koprivshtitsa is part of the city and Sofia region is located in the south-west Bulgaria. It is situated at an altitude of 700-999 m above sea level, covers an area of 139,165 km ² and has a population of 2490 inhabitants (census 01/01/2007). Along both sides of the river Topolitsa, Koprivshtica is the only settlement in Bulgaria where they were kept more than 250 houses built during the Revival. Houses Dimcho Debelyanov former symbolist poet, revolutionary leaders Todor Kableshkov Georgi and merchant Benkovski Oslekov Nincho museums are now presenting the life of Bulgarian citizens in the late 19th and early 20th century.
