The high altitude holiday resort Folgarida is situated in between forests on an altitude of approx. 1,300 m. Ever since the 1960s, it has grown to be one of the most important holiday resorts in Trentino. In Passo Tonale winter sports freaks and fans will get their money's worth - the location of this quickly developed resort is nearly perfect. Upon reaching the valley, winter sports fans' hearts will beat faster at the sight of the Adamello-Brenta Park's huge mountains. This is the right spot for those not really concerned with the romantic and rustic, but prefer a more functional holiday in order to fully concentrate on winter sports. Passo del Tonale is surrounded by many winter sports centres offering numerous activities. Horseback riding, dog-sledding or carriage rides through the wintry white grandeur are only a few possibilities. A further attraction of the Adamello ski area is the year-round ski area on the Presena Glacier at 3,000 m. Thanks to its location, Passo del Tonale is a great starting point for all hiking fans. The 50 total km of winter hiking trails provide a great view of the valley.
Tesero is situated on a mountain terrace at 1,000 m. The resort is very centrally located and is known as the artistic and cultural centre of Val di Fiemme, offering guests numerous leisure time opportunities. Starting from Tesero you can best access the Ski Center Lantemar or enjoy yourself on the pistes of Alpe Cermis. Cross-country enthusiasts are also familiar with Tesero, as the 1991, 2003 and 2013 Nordic ski world championship took place here. The other resorts in Val di Fiemme also invite guests to visit for a day. Cavalese, for instance, is only approx. 5 km away.
San Martino di Castrozza (1487 m) is a tourist resort (winter and summer), located in the upper valley of Primiero, in eastern Trentino. The west, which has 428 inhabitants, is part of the municipality of Siror, while east of 135 inhabitants, is a hamlet of Tonadico. Since 2016, the resort will be entirely within the new municipality Primiero San Martino di Castrozza.

Völs am Schlern shines at 880 m with its charming and sunny location. Nestled in gentle mountains, the spa resort is especially known for its hay baths and mild climate. The extensive winter landscape around Völs offers numerous leisure time activities. Alternatives to skiing include tobogganing through the winter scenery, or exploring and enjoying the surroundings on the far-reaching cross-country track network and winter hiking trails, or on a snow-shoe hike. Especially dominant is the rock formation of the Santnerspitze (2,414 m) and the famous Schlern (2,564 m).
St. Christina lies at 1,428 m and is the geographic centre of Val Gardena. It is located on the sunny side of Val Gardena and is distinguished by the striking Langkofel cliffs. St. Christina is known as the Saslong world cup run destination. In addition to modernly furnished hotels, the resort offers guests traditional farms, retaining its charm. It is especially popular among families with children and offers great connections to the Monte Pana, Ciampinoi, Col de Raiser and Seceda lift systems, as well as direct entry to the Sella Ronda and the Gardena Ronda.
Once there was the largest farm of the region located here at the end of the Val Senales. However that has changed a bit since then. In midst of the huge mountain massif with a number of 3,000 m peaks there is now a modern ski station which easily combines functionality and Tyrolean cosiness. Kurzras maybe small, however that does not mean that is doesn't offer the amenities required for a relaxing holiday.But winter sports fans not only come here due to the good infrastructure. It is rather the ski area that attracts them, which is accessible via chair lift or gondola directly from Kurzras. The ski areas at the Schnalstaler Glacier offers skiing from October until May - which extends the regular season considerably. The leisure time offers away from the pistes however, are also worth mentioning - never mind if it be sporty and active or culturally based.
