Kappl ski resort is one of the most beautiful ski resorts in the Silvretta region. Kappl resort is situated on the sunny side of Paznaun valley 1258 meters.
Located 90 km from Innsbruck, about 69 km from Imst and 60 km from Otz, the resort is at 1342 m altitude and is known for its high mountains, beautiful valley, forest and local traditions.
The area is one of the largest ski regions in Austria. In this region we find the longest trail in the world with a length of 14 km, BIG3 Gaislachkogl platform at an altitude of 3058 meters.

The village lies in the inner Alpbachtal on a sunny plateau with a heavenly view and direct access to the ski area at the Wiedersberger Horn. As Inneralpbach forms the head of the valley, peace and tranquillity reigns here, without disturbing traffic. Alpbach entices its guests with its historic ambience and a whole lot of recreational activities, such as tobogganing or winter hiking. The splendid guest houses promise a hearty atmosphere before you even set foot inside them.
Walchsee is located right on the shore of the lake at an altitude of 658 m. The sunny resort is situated in the centre of a picturesque landscape at the foot of the Zahmen Kaiser. Oberau is situated at 936 m on the edge of the Kitzbühel Alps, in the centre of the sunny Wildschönau upper valley. The pretty and typical Tyrolean village is a main resort in the upper valley and impresses guests in particular with its 250 year old Baroque parish church. The community of Kramsach (520 m) lies in Tyrol's lower Inn Valley, on the northern shore of the Inn, and scatters itself on the alluvial fan of the Brandenberger Ache across from Rattenberg. The main resort Wenns /982 m altitude) lays in the bottom of the valley and is perfectly connected to the ski area Hochzeiger with the complementary ski bus. Due to the rising number of guests every year the tourist infrastructure is constantly modernised and sports offer is expanded regularly. Hotels have been erected and have changed the appearance of the villages, but considering all the ongoing change, Wenns could maintain its original mountain village charm. The inhabitants are friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. The landscape around the valley entrance is towered-over by the Plattenrain (1,476 m) and the Venet (2,512 m). A visit to the "Burg Hirschberg" (castle on stag mountain) originating from the 13th century is worth while. It crumbled considerably in 1921, but in winter it provides a very romantic sight.
