Linz

Linz (population 200,000) is a city in north-western Austria, the Danube River. It is the capital of Upper Austria (Oberösterreich). Near Linz, is Leonding city where Adolf Hitler's parents are buried. Adolf Hitler himself went to school ("Fadingergymnasium") in Linz, but left before I finish it, changing the school with a Steyr (Upper Austria). The composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's 36th Symphony (1783) in Linz for a concert that was supposed to take place here, work is now known as Symphony Linz. The first version of Symphony 1 in C minor by Anton Bruckner is known as version Linz.

Like for instance a former Benedictine monastery which was established around 748 and was extended to a castle in the 17th century. Especially outstanding is the gothic parish church with many interesting works of art.

Gmunden is a town in Upper Austria, Austria, in the district of Gmunden. It is much frequented as a summer resort and recovery. There are a number of tours and points of interest around Gmunden, especially noteworthy being Traun Fall, 10 miles (16 km) north of Gmunden, a castle called Schloss Ort and producer of ceramic Gmunden Keramik, a ceramics factory .

Bad Ischl is a spa town in Austria. It lies in the southern part of Upper Austria, at the Traun River in the centre of the Salzkammergut region. The town consists of the Katastralgemeinden Ahorn, Bad Ischl, Haiden, Jainzen, Kaltenbach, Lauffen, Lindau, Pfandl, Perneck, Reiterndorf and Rettenbach. It is connected to the village of Strobl by the river Ischl, which drains from the Wolfgangsee, and to the Traunsee, into which the stream empties. A subcamp of the Dachau concentration camp was located in the town.
