Bludenz is a town in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg. It is the administrative seat of Bludenz District, which encompasses about half of the state's territory.

The Silvretta High Alpine Road will take you even in summer to this eldorado for mountain bike tours and impressive high-altitude hikes with a magnificent mountain panorama, such as the Piz Buin, the tallest mountain in Vorarlberg. At the feet of the Vermuntbahn cableway, you will also find the starting point for the longest stairway in the world


Tschagguns

Tschagguns

The municipality of Tschagguns is located in the the picturesque Gauer Valley in Vorarlberg. The village centre is situated at an altitude of 685 m above sea level, but the the municipality comprises several hamlets up to an altitude of 1,200 m. Approx. 2,500 people live in the mountain village in the magnificent scenery of the Rätikon mountains. The end of the valley with the "three towers" of the Drusenfluh group is considered one of the most beautiful of the eastern Alps. Tschagguns is situated in the heart of Montafon between the two towns Schruns and Golm at the foot of the Tschaggunser Mittagsspitze (2,168 m). The lifts for the ski areas Golm and Silvretta Montafon are only a couple of kilometres away. Several hotels and guest houses will provide you with a cosy place to stay. The local landmark - the Marien-Wallfahrtskirche built in the 15th century - is located on hill. You can take a stroll in the neighbouring main town of the Montafon area Schruns to enjoy the historical old town. Many big events are organised here, such as the World Cup Montafon with international live acts. Tschagguns also has a train station, where you can take a train to Schruns.

Dornbirn is a city in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg. It is the administrative centre for the district of Dornbirn, which also includes the town of Hohenems, and the market town Lustenau. Dornbirn is located in western Vorarlberg at 437 metres above sea level in the Rhine Valley, at the foot of the Karren mountain, part of the Bregenz Forest Mountain chain at the edge of the Eastern Alps. It is near the borders to Switzerland, Germany and Liechtenstein. The Dornbirner Ach river flows through the town and later into Lake Constance.

With just 528 residents, the idyllic resort of Bürserberg (871 m) is the smallest in the entire Brandner Valley. Thanks to its sunny location in the middle of the valley and the high plateau Tschengla (1,250 m), Bürserberg is a true paradise for relaxation and leisure activities. How to get thereBy car: coming from Germany via Lindau-Bregenz through the 'Pfänder- and Ambergtunnel' to Bludenz-est and from here the local road to Partenen. From Innsbruck-Landeck you take 'Silvretta-Hochalpenstraße'(only in summer) to Partenen or through the 'Arlbergtunnel' to Bludenz and then local road to Partenen. By train: to Bludenz and then Montafoner-railway to Schruns and then by bus or taxi to Partenen. By airplane: the nearest airport is in Zürich.
