The Old Town - Batumi Piazza and Piazza Europa.
The cliff, with the promenade of about 7 kilometers, known as the Batumi Boulevard, is the one who cares about the connection between the old time and the new city.
In Batumi you can see the largest aquarium in URSA and the largest botanical garden in Georgia (it is also one of the largest and richest botanical gardens in the former Soviet space). Among the tourist objectives of the city are also the Batumi Fortress, built
by tourism in the sec. XVII. All batteries are capable of capturing lines for the transcaucasian and the Baku gasoline driving end.
The Gonio-Apsaros Fortress is located 12 km south of Batumi, on the left bank of the Chorokhi River. One of the oldest settlements in Georgia was located in this regard. Due to the strategy of selling the location, Gonio-Apsaros became a more important fortress
for the Romans and later for the Byzantines and Ottomans along the Black Sea coast. Respectively, the fortress has several layers: the Roman layer (III-IV cc BC), the Byzantine layer (VI-VII cc) and the Ottoman layer (XVI century AD). There is a museum inside
