Church of the Holy Blood - details and images

Church of the Holy Blood chapel consists of a novel distil (ground) and a Gothic chapel (upstairs). The two levels could not be more different, lower level in the Roman style was austere with very little decoration in Gothic style and the floor is alive, full of color and detail.

The two chapels are connected by a brick staircase that starts from the front towards the market. The stairs were built in 1533 in the Romanesque, but were demolished during the French occupation. They were rebuilt in the nineteenth century.
