Irish Museum of Modern Art - details and images

The museum shows a variety of collections in a dynamic program of exhibitions, which regularly includes its own collection, which is awarded by the Department of Education.

It also creates a wider access to art and artists through its Studio and National Programmes.

The museum is housed in a magnificent building from the 17th century Royal Hospital.

Program:
Tuesday-Saturday: 10:00 - 17:30, except for the day Wednesday 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m..
Sundays and public holidays: 12:00 to 5:30 p.m..
Closed: Mondays, Good Friday, 24-26 December.

Rates:
Entrance to the Museum and all exhibitions are free.

LUAS - Red line to Heuston Station.
Buses to Heuston Station: 26 from Wellington Quay, 51/79 from Aston Quay, 90 DART bus feeder from Connolly and Tara Street Stations to Heuston Station.
Buses to St. James: 123 from O'Connell St / Dame St, 51B/78A from Aston Quay.
Car - 10 min drive from downtown.
On foot - about 30-40 minutes from downtown.
Train - 5 min walk from Heuston Station, from Connolly & Tara Street Stations by 90 bus to Heuston train station.
