Mineral water springs Borsec - details and images
In Borsec are more than 15 springs with carbonated natural mineral water, with close chemical composition, stable in time and variable flows .
The springs - tourist attractions:
"Seven Springs", a source located at about 1500 m from the resort. The name comes from the number of sources that supply resort's drinking water. Distance to this objective through in about half an hour. The road is not marked, being large, clearly targeted by enrolling in an open meadow bordered on the west side of a forest.
Ancient Spring (mofette), one of the oldest sources of cure in the resort, located on the road to the Ice Cave.
Pierre Curie spring, at a distance of about 1800 m of the resort, is the resort's source with the most radioactive mineral water.
The most important sources of the resort are springs 1 and 2. Both appear on cracks of limestone and dolomite are captured and brought in bells of copper pipe to distributors on the rise. Their sparkling water - bicarbonate is used at bottling.

Spring Lázár (source 6) - Water Bicarbonate; contains calcium, magnesium, sodium, carbonated, hypotonic, slightly sulphurous; indications: relieve gastritis hyperacidity.
Kossuth spring (spring 10) - the flow is decreasing; instructions: hypoacid gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, hypocalcaemia
Petofi spring (spring 11) - rate of 900 liters per day; sodas, Bicarbonate, Mixed; contains calcium, magnesium, lithium, sodium instructions: gastritis, hyperacidity; hypocalcemia, parathyroid insufficiency.
