National Museum of Art and History - Geschichte Nationalmusée the Konscht wireless - are found in the oldest part of town and houses fascinating exhibits geological, historical and archaeological.
Here is a collection called Bentinek-Thyssen, which contains works of art dating from the fifteenth-eighteenth centuries, which belonged to renowned Rubens, van Dyck, Rembrandt and Breughel.
The museum is spread over 10 floors and the exhibits are arranged in chronological order, starting from prehistoric times. The objects exhibited here show that people living in this area continuously since the Middle Ages.
Art collections include paintings and faiosul Bacchus, Venus and Love (1530-1531) of Rosso Fiorentino, and modern works that present different aspects of daily life in Luxembourg.
