The winter holiday resort Pamporovo has been providing opportunities for practicing ski sports since the beginning of the 60-ies of the 20-th century. During the last 5 years, the ski zone was completely modernized.

All ski runs are safe guarded and maintained in a very good condition. More than 100 highly qualified ski instructors fluent in different languages are here to teach both beginners and intermediate skiers and snowboarders. Ski rentals are available near the ski runs and the lift stations, you can book ski equipment rental, ski school, lift pass with us.

The ski runs in Pamporovo come in all hardship levels. They are located between 1926 and 1450 m above the sea level on the northern, eastern and western slopes of The Snejanka peak. The most difficult ski piste is "The Wall".

All major ski runs start from the peak of the mountain, where the TV tower is located.
Great off-piste skiing and snowboarding is available in this resort, however we recommend using a local guide when going off-piste.

Lifts: 5 chair lifts, 9 drag lifts, with total capacity 8600 persons per hour
Total length of ski runs: 25 km + 30 km slopes for ski run;
Longest run: 4,2 km

There are ski runs of all degrees of difficulty in Pamporovo. Most of the tracks start from the very peak. Also, there are three cross-country runs in the resort, with total length of around 40 km.

Beginners: Can start with the ski school of Pamporovo, which is quite famous with the quality tuition. Starting on the nursery slopes, after few days they will be able to ski on the higher ski runs.

Intermediate skiers: The total length of ski runs which are suitable for Intermedaites is approx. 20 km. These skiers can jump on the triple chairlift from the Malina station going to the top of Snejanka peak. Or, a single chair lift goes to the middle station, from where the new four persons lift runs up to the peak.

Advanced skiers: Can jump on the drag lift from the middle station which runs up the side of “The Wall”. It is the most difficult ski run in the resort. The other difficult piste starts from the TV tower, after the last station of the triple chair, go right, pistes called Snejanka.

Snowboarding
The winter holiday resort Pamporovo offers very good conditions for practicing snowboard. The 6 ski lifts and the large number of ski runs make this resort very suitable for the fans of this sport. During year 2004, the first half-pipe ski track in Bulgaria was built in this resort, which is now a real attraction for extreme snowboard skaters and for those, who like amusement and tricks.

Ice skating
The ice skating rink has been open to visitors in the center of the resort complex Pamporovo for already three seasons, as it creates superb conditions for recreation after the tiresome day along the ski tracks under the sounds of pleasant music.
Skidoo-ing
Pamporovo resort in recent years started playing a sport that is popular in the U.S. and Western Europe - Skidoo-ing - motor sledges .
