St. Anastasia Island - details and images

St. Anastasia Island is a Bulgarian island located in the Black Sea. It is located 1.5 km from the coast, near Chernomorets, 12 meters above sea level and covered a territory of one hectare. It is the only island inhabited by the Bulgarian Black Sea coast.
The island is supplied with electricity and drinking water. It is named after the loading of the monastery of St. Anastasia located on it. The monastery existed since the Middle Ages and was rebuilt during the 18th-19th centuries. An abandonment abandoned in 1923, when an island was transformed into a closure.
