There are several famous stadiums in the world when it comes to Italy and none compare to the Stadio San Siro in Milan. It is the biggest stadium in Italy with a capacity of 80,000 seats, and the design makes it very easy or distinctly recognizable. Because the San Siro stadium is starring two of the biggest teams in Italy are important football matches every weekend. Stadium in Milan is known by many names and the reasons for this are more complicated than you might think.

It was originally called "Stadio Comunale" when it was built in the 1920s and was officially renamed Stadio Giuseppe Meazza "in 1979. Meazza was one of the greatest footballers of Italian and although both teams wore shirts of Milan during his career, is best known as Inter's player (he played a much longer period under the colors of Inter than AC Milan ). Thus far Inter's fans call stadium Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, while AC Milan fans call him "San Siro" - this being the name of the neighborhood where the stadium is.

City owner Milan at the Stadio San Siro and Abel teams, both Inter and AC Milan are just renting. The stadium was originally owned by AC Milan, Inter moved to here only in 1947. There are some rumors that Inter will build their own stadium and that it will move into new house but have not yet been confirmed.

There is also a museum with exhibits at the San Siro in the history of both clubs. This can be seen t-shirts, photos, shoes, tickets and trophies. But more impressive than the museum is a tour of the stadium itself.
