Zadar is a city in Croatia, bordering the Adriatic Sea. Zadar is the county seat and the entire region of northern Dalmatia. Is a neighbor islands Zadar Ugljan and Pasman, which is separated from the narrow Zadar Strait. The promontory on which it was built the old city was separated from the mainland by a deep moat, which today has become a waste landfill.
