The hotel is situated just after the Faidherbe Bridge, in the heart of Saint Louis Island which is classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Guests will find the centre of Saint Louis, a museum and the Senegal River on the hotel doorstep. It is 5 km to the beach 20 km to Langue de Barbarie Park and 80 km to Djoudj Park. Dakar Airport is 270 km away.
This hotel is housed in a building dating back to 1850 and renovated in 2009. It is fitted out in pure Colonial style and was the stopping place of the famous airmail pilot Jean Mermoz. It is perfectly adapted to modern standards yet retains its particular charm. This historical city hotel offers guests an unforgettable stay and comprises a total of 40 rooms including 1 suite. Facilities on offer to guests include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception, a currency exchange facility, a bar and a breakfast room. Guests can also take advantage of the room and laundry services (the latter for an additional fee) and there is parking available for those arriving by car.
