The property is situated on the northwest coast of Saint Lucia between the town of Gros Islet and the capital Castries. A major tourist attraction of Gros Islet is the Friday Night Street Party, plus it is the location of the Beausejour Cricket Grounds, where both One Day International and Test Cricket is played. Castries is a great place for fine restaurants and shopping; there are a number of duty free centres like Point Seraphine and La Place Carinage. The idyllic resort is nestled in a private cove in Choc Bay; the sparkling Caribbean Sea dominates the scenery and laps against a beautiful golden beach. The guesthouses are brightly painted in reds, yellows and blues. They are set amongst green lawns, turquoise waters and technicolour gardens; the overall collection of bright colours creates an unmistakeable Caribbean atmosphere. The all-inclusive package grants each guest unlimited access to a range of facilities and services like drinks, dining, water sports and entertainment. Water sports available include waterskiing, sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, snorkeling, banana boating, aqua cycling and several motorised options. Onshore guests can relax and enjoy the swimming pools, spa tub, sauna, steam room and beach/pool lounges. For those who fancy being a bit more active there is a top fitness centre and opportunities to play tennis, table tennis and volleyball onsite. Dining is a gourmet experience at any of the four distinct restaurants. The Palms is the resort’s main continental restaurant, serving a buffet-style breakfast and an a la carte lunch/dinner menu from around the world. Bambou also offers breakfast, a choice of either the buffet or a la carte lunch plusa fusion of Asian and Caribbean a la carte cuisine for dinner, all located at the water’s edge. Morgan’s Pier is a seafood restaurant overlooking the ocean and open for dinner, while Le Jardin allows visitors to sample local delicacies and specialties from the French Creole tradition. Standard rooms are located amidst tropical gardens, predominantly on the ground floor and feature either a patio or balcony. Amenities include air conditioning, private bathroom/shower, safety deposit box, ceiling fan, hair dryer, direct-dial telephone, beach towels, tea/coffee maker and satellite TV.
