The property is a 40-minute seaplane ride from Male International Airport and a 1-hour speedboat ride from Soneva Fushi, a resort part of Soneva Jani.

The resort has 51 overwater villas and three island villas, split between Soneva Jani's original, iconic offering

large terraces, private pools and outdoor baths with many water slides that enjoy directly into the lagoon. Soneva Jani's main facilities are located at The Gathering, which is a three-story structure that houses the main restaurants, as well as an observatory, spa, gift shop, and water sports and diving center. There is also an overwater silent cinema, a tennis court, a maze garden, an eco-centre and a children's shelter on the main island.

Soneva Jani offers a range of dining and food options, as well as a complimentary cheese room, chocolate room and freezer room for all guests.

Room facilities:

Each water villa opens onto its own lagoon area and comes with a private plunge pool and a retractable roof for stargazing from the master bedroom. Some of the villas have slides from the top floor directly into the lagoon below.

With beautifully designed interiors made from sustainable materials, all villas are equipped with a spacious master bedroom with an adjoining children's sleeping area. All villas have an outdoor bathroom with bathtub, shower and access to the lagoon. They also have a minibar with an espresso machine and a private wine selection.
