location: The hotel is located up a steep hill overlooking a valley. It is within reasonable walking distance of the town's historic centre. It is set in rolling parkland. rooms: The luxuriously appointed rooms are all different in size and layout but have the same traditional style. The floors are of Polished wood with rugs, sumptuous beds and furniture adorn and some of the corner rooms are reminiscent of a fairy's castle. The bathrooms are modern, clean and very -very well maintained. restaurant: The restaurant is located on ground level to the right of the reception hall. It is a large, high ceilinged room with light paint work and dark woodwork. exterior: The hotel has an historic castle like appearance of white crenellated fortifications. The main buildings are attractively historic. lobby: The medium sized lobby is very well lit. The small reception area is located just in front of the entrance door.
