Its position above the valley, compact courtyard and views towards the Balkan Mountains make it a memorable stop in the Lovech region.

Raysko Praskalo Waterfall

Lovech, BulgariaRaysko Praskalo Waterfall is located in Central Balkan National Park, below Botev Peak, and has a height of about 124.5 metres. It is considered the highest permanent waterfall in Bulgaria. Access is usually made by hiking from the Kalofer and Panitsite area, with Ray Hut as the main landmark. The site is suitable for hiking, landscape photography and alpine scenery.
