Brisbane is the third largest city in Australia, but not the sunniest. It is found in subtropical regions of south-east Queensland, 25 km upstream on the Brisbane River.
The city has an ideal location: the capital of northern Australia, the Pacific line. There have been a number of major international events in the 80s, including English Republic Games (Commomwealth Games) in 1982 and Expo 88. Brisbane has become a lively cosmopolitan
city with several interesting districts, street cafes, a great park on the river, a cultural calendar glomerata and a pretty good nightlife.
