Banat, RomaniaThe Orthodox Cathedral of the Holy Three Hierarchs was built between 1936 and 1940, following the sketch of the architect Ioan Troianescu, being declared an art monument for its architecture, painting and sculpture. The actual construction of the cathedral began in 1936, by the consecration of the foundation stone, by the bishop Andrei Magieru of Arad.
